DAN MEICHENBAUM
Vice President, Primary Market Research

Dan has over 10 years of experience designing and managing survey-based research studies, and performing data analysis and predictive modeling. Dan is responsible for the overall success of the project engagement at Wedbush Decision Metrics, working with clients to understand and define their specific research questions. For all custom surveys, he is responsible for development and execution of the survey instrument and detailed analysis of the results. His market research expertise includes segmentation, market assessments, product usage and awareness tracking studies, and new product concept design and testing.

Dan has worked with leading institutional investment, venture capital, private equity, and corporate entities to provide primary market research data needed for informed investment and management decisions. Previously, Dan was owner and Principal Consultant with Health Research Consulting, Senior Director of Analytics at Loyalty Matrix, and Senior Market Research Analyst at ConsumerData International. Dan earned a B.Sc. Applied Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada, where he focused on research in the field of human neurophysiology and gained extensive training in research design and analysis.

WILLIAM ANLYAN
Vice President, Primary Market Research, Business Development

Will Anlyan has over six years of experience in the primary market research industry and is responsible for business development initiatives at Wedbush Decision Metrics. Will is adept at working with decision makers within companies to identify their research needs and formulate an executable strategy to deliver actionable research results.

Previously, Will was Senior Director of Client Development at Greenfield Online, Inc., one of the largest online data collection firms in the world. Will managed accounts in the fields of market research, advertising, branding, management consulting, venture capital, and equity research. Will oversaw research conducted in the healthcare, B2B, and consumer verticals. Prior to Greenfield, Will was Sales Manager at the pharmaceutical data collection firm, Rapidata. Will attended New York University.

JAMES PROULX
Senior Market Research Analyst

James’ research background includes multi-methodological approaches, diverse audiences, and forms of market research. At Wedbush Decision Metrics, James participates in the development of projects from conception, research design, to analysis of results. James is responsible for coordinating data collection, quality control for all field studies, survey pretesting and preliminary analyses of final data. Prior to joining the Decision Metrics team in January 2008, James was a research project manager at Taylor Nelson Sofres, Harris Interactive and Abaco Marketing Research. James holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego.
